Honestly facing our lives can be difficult. Often our ways of coping with emotional pain become dissatisfying, and create even more vicious cycles of suffering. Psychotherapy is a relationship in which this pain can be acknowledged, understood, and over time, processed, leading to greater compassion and freedom in our lives. Psychotherapy is a way to explore your own story and experience, expanding your emotional awareness and deepening your capacity for growth.

Relationships can be some of the most challenging and complicated experiences to navigate. In working with couples, I create a safe and supportive atmosphere, where patterns of anxiety, fear, and defensiveness can be replaced with understanding and mutual support. Whether you are just beginning a relationship, or are decades in, I see therapy to be a valuable process.
I have completed Level 1 of the Gottman couples therapy clinical training, a research-based method for working with couples.
