Psychotherapy

“Attention is the beginning of devotion.” -Mary Oliver

The practice of psychotherapy, of tending to the soul, begins with deeply listening. As we attune to your being - to body and breath, to dreams and longing …we begin to create a container for tending and holding the processes of life.

Learning how to hold, how to be with, how to untangle, how to allow, allow, allow that which we are made of, that which we feel to be true, to make itself known to us is a work unto itself.

It is a practice of listening, a practice of patience, a practice of learning how to trust and embody our own experience. It is a practice of learning how to care, with gentleness, with devotion, for our own lives.

What is asking for your attention? What is asking to be heard? What is making itself known to you?

As we explore your own story and experience, my hope is that we will listen deeply, tending to whatever emerges. In so doing, we will strengthen your emotional awareness and nourish your capacity for authenticity and connection - to yourself, to others, and to life itself.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Washington and hold a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology from The Seattle School of Theology & Psychology. I began my private practice in 2013 and have continued to develop and deepen my learning. My practice is informed by Jungian and depth psychologies, attachment theory, Internal Family Systems, somatic and body-based therapies for supporting embodiment and the nervous system as well as a deeply held belief in the power of creativity.

I am an out of network provider for insurance companies and can provide invoices for reimbursement depending upon your plan’s coverage.
